What happens when an app changes its tools?
New tools stay hidden, changed tools pause and removed tools stop, until an admin reviews and approves the new list. Everything already approved and unchanged keeps working the whole time.
Can we add our own policy checks on top of the defaults?
Yes. Rules run when the tool list is approved, before a call and after it, and can block a call, require a named human approval, or trim what is sent or returned. Rules can only take access away, never add it.
What ends up in an audit receipt, and how long is it kept?
A record is written before the call reaches the app, and a receipt after it comes back. Online retention is 7 days on Free, 90 days on Team, 365 days on Business, and 2555 days on Enterprise — enforced by the plan, not by a setting.
